INIESTA CONFIRMS HE COULD MAKE BARCELONA RETURN

Former Barcelona midfielder Andres Iniesta has somewhat confirmed that he could be returning to the Camp Nou in what came as a rather shocking and interesting development. The former Spain international midfielder was a midfield maestro during his playing days for the Blaugrana and bossed the midfield alongside hie former teammate at club and national team level, Xavi Hernández. However, all good things do come do an end and the two players, with tears in their eyes, announced their departures from the club they spent all of their playing careers playing for.

However, while Xavi went straight into retirement after leaving Barcelona, Iniesta did not do the same. He instead continued playing and signed for Japanese League side Vissel Kobe where he continued to show that age is only a number and that class is permanent. He became one of the best players not only at the club but also in the league overall as he continued to score goals and register assists as well. Xavi, on the other hand, was appointed as manager by a club in Saudi Arabia where he began his career in club management.

Former Barcelona midfielder Andres Iniesta believes that his former team needs to invest in new players if they want to win the Champions League in the future. He said that all the European clubs have invested massively in recent seasons but Barcelona has remained the same.

He said that there is a relatively young team at Barcelona but they need to be assisted by some experienced players. He said that for too long the team is relying solely on Lionel Messi as well as Luis Suarez for the goals.

Iniesta Resuems Training Ahead Of Chelsea UCL Game

Barcelona midfielder Andres Iniesta has reportedly resumed training ahead of the return leg crucial game against archrivals in the Champions League, Chelsea. The Spaniard has resumed training and was pictured running at the club’s training ground on Wednesday, showing signs of racing well against time.

With former Liverpool playmaker Philippe Coutinho cup-tied in the Champions League and a spate of injuries in Ernesto Valverde’s camp, Iniesta is required to be fully fit for the important game. INIESTA WANTS COUTINHO AT BARCA

Barcelona skipper Andres Iniesta has implored the club to sign Philippe Coutinho to the Nou Camp. The Liverpool playmaker is very willing to move to Spain but his current employers want him to stay put. The Reds rejected three bids by the Catalan club for the Brazilian in the summer.

There are still speculations over the future of the player, with Coutinho not delivering as much as we have come to know in recent times. The La Liga giants are expected to return with a better offer in the winter window for Coutinho. If the price is right, the Liverpool management would likely budge.
